Job Description
To lead the collection, analysis, and visualization of operational and business data from core systems including Pronto, Datamine Fusion, Datamine Ore Controller, Datamine CCLASS, Eclipse Database, Fleet Management Database, and other company databases. This position plays a key role in supporting the company’s digital transformation initiatives and decision-making processes by delivering actionable data insights, KPI dashboards, and analytical reports. In the initial phase, this role will primarily support the Fleet Management Project to ensure data accuracy, integration, and reporting performance, before transitioning into broader data analytics responsibilities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data analysis activities to support digital transformation initiatives and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with the Fleet Management project team to ensure accurate data integration, reporting, and KPI tracking.
- Design and develop BI dashboards, analytical models, and performance reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos.
- Extract and consolidate data from core systems such as Pronto, Datamine Fusion, Datamine Ore Controller, Datamine CCLASS, Eclipse Database, Fleet Management Database, and other company databases.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across different platforms and departments.
- Provide analytical insights to management for decision-making and operational optimization.
- Work closely with IT, Mining, and Production teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data warehouses and pipelines to support long-term analytics.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts in data management, visualization, and reporting best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or ERP/Mining data systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel; strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and visualization; experience with data systems related to mining and operations such as Pronto ERP, Datamine Suite, Fleet Management, and Eclipse database; basic understanding of Python or R for analytical processing; familiarity with ETL processes and data warehouse design.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, excellent communication and presentation skills, proactive problem-solving, and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Certificates (Preferred): Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300), Google Data Analytics, or equivalent BI/analytics certifications.
