DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and implement processes for developing the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plan.
- Establish and report maintenance shutdown work performance and major equipment repair work.
- Manage the quality of work to ensure the standards and specifications.
- Create and maintain Work orders and requisitions materials, equipment and services in pronto confirm that part specialized tools, equipment and labor are available prior to releasing WO.
- Monitor the performance of machinery and equipment, conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair histories. Generate reports for management review.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Lead maintenance planning team in the shutdown plan and run the shutdown planning meeting.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and effective of maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide the best planning and work outcome possible.
- Coordinate maintenance activity with technical and production teams to ensure safe, efficient machine operations.
- Participate in machine/system installations, updating documents and drawing as needed.
- Optimize spare parts inventory, balancing cost and availability while standardizing components.
- Ability to lead, coach and develop a team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage the purchase order and ensure the cost code is all correct.
- Manage QAQC weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliation and reporting of performance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by line supervisor.

- Ensure that the Site Services maintenance team members perform a pre-job risk assessment ‘Hazard Analysis’ for each task to identify and eliminate associated risks before commencing their respective work.

- Liaise with the maintenance planners to ensure that hard copies of all work orders, mandatory checks & inspections of the sites electrical / instrumentation plant, equipment & apparatus are filed, so as to be available for auditing as required.
- Monitor the progress of tasks to ensure that the work practice’s being utilized comply with the current world’s best building and maintenance industries standards and provide cost efficient / effective results in a safe & timely manner.
- Structure task allocation in such a way so as to provide job satisfaction for the Site Services maintenance team, using various methods such as rotation, training, communication, job variety, delegation and by providing a safe work place.
